I originally trained as a restaurateur and hotel manager and one day,in search of relaxation, decided to take up watercolour painting. A natural progression was to sell the product of my hobby. (Click here to see some of my work) It was while I was visiting a trade fair looking for ideas I saw a fudge kettle and bought it. I liked the idea of making and selling fudge but decided from the outset my fudge would be different, produced using only the best ingredients, butter not margarine, cream not milk powder and no preservatives. I also decided to produce in small batches to avoid the darkening of the fudge from making larger batches.

I have been making fudge since 1996, and based in Llangollen since 1998. My original signature fudge is White Chocolate & Bailey's, which won ‘Reserve Welsh Speciality’ in the Great Taste Awards 2006, as well as achieving a commendation in ‘Wales, the True Taste’ in 2007 and 2008. My other flavours that were also commended were Scot's Tablet, Dark Chocolate and White Chocolate & Demerara Fudges. I also became "True Taste Regional Producer (North Wales) 2007/08.
